I feel my situation is a bit unique amongst English teachers., primarily because I have had ESL students living at home with me and my family back in Canada.
Prior to this, I had already gained some experience working with English learners, both paid privately and voluntarily, and when combined, make me feel suitable for some type of formal teaching position.
